DRUG INFUSION PUMP |
The
Drop Infusion Pump is a Microprocessor based instrument.
It is used to regulate the flow of fluid through gravity
feed intravenous therapy system accurately and safely
and also to maintain the delivery rate selected through
precise-control fingers type peristaltic pump. Operating
range of the system is 1 drop/min to 99 drops/min with
various audio & visual alarm facilities for the safety
of the patients. The system is compatible with the conventional
IV sets for Adults & Neonate patients having delivery
tube with outer diameter 3-6 mm. These systems are used
in the hospital for fluid therapy to manage the patients
during and after surgery, treatment of burns, treatment
of insulin patients and treatment of dehydration in pediatric
patients. All primary health centers, community health
centers and district hospitals are potential users of
this machine. The system has battery backup facility so
that the system continues to operate even during power
failure.
