| DIGITAL
FLAMEPHOTOMETER is a simple & easy to operate instrument
for determination of Sodium, Potassium, Calcium and Lithium.
Air at a given pressure is passed into the atomizer. The
suction produced by it draws the solution of the sample
into the Nebulizer and is then sprayed as a fine mist
into the flame. The light emited by the element at the
charaterstic wavelength is isolated by the narrow band
interference filter, which then falls on to the silicon
photodiode. After signal conditioning of the photodiode
output, it is sent to the analog to digital converter
and the results are displayed directly in ppm value. |

| The
narrowband interference filters are mounted on to a rotating
disk fitted within the main unit. Appropriate filter can
be selected by rotating this disk with the thumb. The
oil free air compressor with regulator maintains stable
air flow. The instrument is supplied in two units viz.
Main unit and Compressor unit. The Main unit comprises
of display, detector, filters and the nebulizer. The Compressor
unit supplies the compressed air to the main unit |
