Microprocessor
Flamephotometer is an ideal instrument for determination
of concentration of Sodium, Potassium, Calcium and Lithium
in the samples.Extremely useful instruments for Medical
and Laboratory use. The system is useful for both General
and Bio-chemical Analysis. The solution is passed through
the atomizer where air, sample and the fuel are mixed
together in the mixing chamber, which is then sprayed
as a very fine mist into the flame. The color of the flame
is changed depending upon the concentration of elements
present. The radiation's from the resulting flame are
passed through the sensing system and the specific narrow
band interference filter, which permits only the characteristic
radiation to pass to the photo detector. The output of
the photo detector is then processed by the microprocessor
and final results are displayed on the digital display.
The instrument is supplied to measure Sodium(Na) and Potassium(K)
with the interference filters mounted on the rotating
disk. Calcium and Lithium are optional. The interference
filters can be selected by pressing keys available on
the front panel. Precise control is made over the filter
selection using high precision stepper motor. The system
has 8 soft touch membrane type keys for easy operation.
Three-point calibration facility is available so as to
eliminate the inaccuracies involved due to non-linear
behaviour of the elements.

| The
curve fitting is done through a highly precise and reliable
curve fitting software. The system has in-built facility
for multiplying the results with a dilution factor from
1-1000. The results obtained can be seen in both ppm and
meq/l units. Two special modes are available for doing
bio-chemical analysis, viz. Urine and Serum. When in these
modes, the system displays the results in meq/l only. |
