NEOPUFF
RESUSCITATION UNIT |
| Ø |
It
is an easy - to - use manually operated, gas-powered resuscitator
that provides optimal resuscitation with a safe and controlled
peak inspiratory pressure (PIP) and a consistent and precise
positive-end expiratory pressure (PEEP) |
|
| Ø |
Infant
Resuscitator will safely inflate the baby's lungs and
provide optimum oxygenation by delivering consistent
PIP with each breath to avoid the risks associated with
under or over inflation at uncontrolled pressures. A
consistent and precise PEEP is maintained throughout
the resuscitation process, maintaining functional residual
capacity (FRC) and recruitment of alveoli, which prevents
lung collapse. |
| Ø |
The
experience, training and fatigue of the operator does
not effect the delivered pressures. |
| Ø |
It
can accept and deliver oxygen concentrations from 21
% to 100%. |
|
| Ø |
The
fast acting manometer provides constant reassurance
of mask seal and delivered PIP and PEEP. |
| Ø |
The
patient T-piece can be attached to neonatal masks or
endotracheal tubes. |
