Fume Exhaust Hoods are designed to contain and exhaust toxic,
obnoxious harmful vapours, mists etc. particularly for protecting
laboratory personnel and equipment. A motor blower system
generates negatives pressure within the encloser extracting
the contaminated air from the work area and expels it into
the outside atmosphere.
Highly recommended in different laboratories like Biochemistry,
soil test, Food Microbiology Pharmaceuticals units, printed
circuit board etching and cleaning operations, miniature component
assembly etc. These are capable of handling corrosive fumes
of sulphuric & Hydrochloric acid etc.
Construction:
Fume Hoods are made of Board and painted with your choice
collur with working space covered with Stainless Steel 316
Qlty. Acid resistant. The work surface is fitted with small
wash basin of size 250 x 200 x 150 mm depth of Stainless Steel
316 Qlty. with good quality tap. A gas cock is also fitted
for gas supply. A sliding slash made of glass moves vertically
up and down with concealed counter balanced weight. Chamber
is provided with Flourescent Lighting arrangement for easy
working. The space underneath athe work-station is provided
with storage compartment for proper uses. The front fascia
is provided with a panel incorporating 15/5 Amp. Socket with
switches for light and exhaust system supplied with cord and
plug to work on 220/440 Volt 1/3 phase 50 Hz A.C. Front opening
of the Fume Hood will be H 585 x W 910 mm. Complete with Exhaust
System having 38mm Exhaust fan with Stainless Steel Deck &
Duct to take out Fumes.
